achieve their potential

The Friends of the Special Nursery are delighted to announce their support of a brand new charity which has recently been set up to help children with motor control issues.  Radio Northsound’s Cash for Kids charity has set up Project Orchard which is aiming to raise sufficient funds to install a revolutionary new development programme into every single primary school and nursery within Aberdeen City and Shire.

It is called the Isability programme and it has been designed specifically to help children with motor control issues to develop their skills in a structured measurable way. The Isability Programme has been widely praised for it’s far reaching potential in giving affected children a real opportunity to realise their full potential. Motor control issues affect a broad range of conditions including cerebral palsy, autism, dyspraxia  and can often be found in children born at very early gestations.

The Friends of the Special Nursery are proud to be named as a principle supporter of Project Orchard and have agreed to help promote the campaign to other charitable organisations who may be able to help deliver the Isability programme to every single child in Aberdeen city and shire.
